built by Rajput King Sawai Jai Singh. Its construction work was completed in
1738. Jantar Mantar has become the world's largest stone wall block and is also
included in the UNESCO World Heritage site. This monument is situated near the
City Palace and the Hawa Mahal of Jaipur City. The bronze machine is worth
seeing in the monument as well as the works of Hindu Sanskrit words are also
done inside it. You can observe those words with open eyes. This historic
monument represents ancient architectural arts and gives information about the
new-founders of the time and also reflects the ideology of the 18th Century
people. Many people have also observed its beauty. There are three main
astronomical synergy systems in the memorial - boundary-extremes, the mechanism
and the sunspot mechanism, work in two kinds of mechanisms, and it is helpful
in coordinating directly from one mechanism to another.
Albert
Hall Museum: The Albert Hall Museum is Jaipur, the
oldest museum in Rajasthan. The museum is situated in Ramnivas Gardens in front
of New Gate. It also acts as the state museum of Rajasthan and is also called
the Central Museum of Government. Albert Hall Museum has paintings, carpets,
ivory, stones, metal sculptures, and colorful crystals. It is a rich collection
of many artifacts. The cornerstone of Albert Hall was laid on 6 February in the
year 1876, when Prince of Wales, Albert Edward came during a visit to Jaipur.
This building was built on his name. But still there is an uncertainty on the
purpose of its creation. It has not yet been decided how to use it. Maharaja
Sawai Ram Singh wanted to build a Town Hall in the museum. Some people
suggested it for use in cultural or educational. Dr. Thomas Hooben Headley
suggested encouraging local craftsmen by displaying their craft using
construction as an industrial museum. After this Maharaja Sawai Madhu Singh II
of Jaipur liked this idea and he constructed it in 1880. And at the end of 1887
this museum was opened to the public.
